Dangit Theo, you messed up my traits. Now that Colonialism is a national trait I have to get that, which means I have to give up one of my military traits. Master of the Seas is a good trait and might be vital for a seagoing empire, but I was really looking forward to having Great Leadership with all my famous explorers and admirals. Gah!

If you get Colonialism you can still get a Military Trait.

Shortage of Resources provides an extra trait. I was going to use the extra to stack military traits and have an awesome navy, but now I have to get two national traits because they both fit my nation perfectly.

Yes, I made Russian Imperialist Halflings ruled by trade guilds. It was an awesome idea on the last Warring Fronts and its still awesome now. Maybe this time people will stick around long enough for my hostile takeover of other people's economies to work.
